The World’s football governing body, FIFA, is adding more excitement to their events. FIFA embraces eSports with a new event in its FIFAe or FIFA eSports World Cup this year. They will be teaming up with Rocket League to add rocket-powered cars to play football. The event will have 16 nations from around the world joining.

If you are learning how to become a soccer bookie, make sure you read up on the many FIFA events that you will be offering to your players through your online sportsbook.

In their latest press release, FIFAe calls this event as a major step in FIFA’s commitment to embrace the ecosystem and growth of football esports across the world. And even with some of the best sports software FIFA has, they are making things even more fun with Rocket League.

FIFA Embraces eSports with Unusual Partnership

FIFA Embraces eSports with Rocket League PartnershipDon’t be surprised if you are to see betting lines in online sportsbooks that somehow feature Rocket League. This is a real partnership between the game and the sports association, unusual as it seems. For those not in the know, Rocket League is a popular sport-based video game developed by Psyonix. The game is essentially soccer with cars where the teams will compete in a format similar to that of a regular soccer game.

Rocket League is one of the most popular video games and has amazing graphics. It is also a Free to Play (FTP) game, which makes it very accessible and popular to many. This game was launched back in 2015 for both Windows PC and the PlayStation 4. The game has gone through so many updates and changes through the years, and remains to be highly popular today. So much so, that they are now in the big leagues with their FIFAe inclusion.

FIFAe and Rocket League

The countries will be chosen based on the number of representatives that they have put in previous Rocket League Majors. These countries will then host their own qualification tournaments to choose the players that will join their teams at the FIFAe World Cup.

More details will be announced at a later date. But if you are using a good pay per head bookie software, you do not need to worry. These events will automatically be added to your sportsbook as soon as opening lines are out. Thus, your players will not be missing out on any fun Rocket League FIFAe World Cup action.
