Pedro Padilha Wins PokerStars Titans Event

Most poker tournament players flew to Las Vegas for the 2024 World Series of Poker. However, some stayed and played in online poker rooms. One of these players is Pedro “PaDiLhA SP” Padilha. As a result, he won the PokerStars Titans Event.

In the highly competitive PokerStars’ most expensive weekly tournament, the $5,200 Titans Event, Padilha was one of seventy-seven players vying for the top spot. Out of the $385,000 prize pool, Padilha’s exceptional performance earned him a substantial $103,915, leaving the other top finishers in awe.

According to gambling news reports, nine players advanced to the final table, each with a minimum of $12,002. Rodrigo “SELOUAN1991” Selouan, a fellow Brazilian of Padilha, dropped to tenth place and burst the money bubble.

Kevin “Proudflop” Proudfoot finished in ninth place. Then, happyk99, Sintoras, and Pascal “Pass_72” Lefrancois finished in 8th, 7th, and 6th places, respectively.

The last five were reduced to four after “IamMickeyBR” ($32,704) was eliminated. Then it was down to three after the unfortunate exit of the number-loving Ukrainian “234241234214432.” ($43,664). The Ukrainian celebrity had a fruitful day at the PokerStars table on Sunday, winning an extra $49,424 in the $1,000 NLHE Sunday High Roller event held at the SCOOP Afterparty.

After a thrilling journey, Finland’s Samuel “€urop€an” Vousden secured third place, earning $58,296 for his efforts. This set the stage for a head-to-head match between Padilha and Bulgaria’s “I Attack95.” In a nail-biting one-on-one game, Padilha emerged victorious, pocketing $103,915, while his Bulgarian opponent took home a respectable $77,832.

267 Bounty Builder High Roller participants had a $530 buy-in and produced the $150,000 prize pool. The Brazilian team “Gremio CEM” managed to steal $25,132 from that total while avoiding sharks in the ocean.

Notable among the elite-level grinders at the nine-handed final table was Preben “prebz” Stokkan. He earned $5,782 (including bounties) for finishing sixth after running out of steam.

The list of busted players expanded to include Roman “Gogac sniper” Hrabec, who received $6,600 for finishing fifth. In the heads-up stage of the game, the first prize worth five figures was awarded to Ilya “Leqenden” Anatsky, an experienced online poker player, who finished third and took home $15,856.

Bounties are still up for grabs after “Gremio CEM” and Lithuanian sensation Matas “bebehamis777” Cimbolas locked in $13,897 from the regular prize pool. Not only did “Gremio CEM” emerge unhurt from the last confrontation, but he also collected the reward that had been placed on the heads of the Cimbolas. Thus, Cimbolas was awarded $14,881 for coming in second place and a total prize of $25,132 for the winner.
