We are getting closer to the playoffs and that usually means we'll be getting more recreational bettors. I saw that there are guides like this: https://gamingnewshouse.com/2024/07/12/cat-tutorials/cat-sb-tut/cat-bs-tut/mlb-baseball-betting-strategies-betting-on-the-favorite/ and it explains how bettors can win with this strategy. As bookies, is there a way we can mitigate any risk for when a game will inevitable have action lean heavily on one side?

Guiding people who want to get into the bookie industry. From tutorials to recommendations from this Bookie Pay Per Head comparison, I'm here to help!

Move the lines to get players to bet on the other side. Mostly works for me. A promo or bonus gives the perfect nudge in crunch time too.

Always on the lookout for extra income so I can retire early. Got lucky with betting. Had I known, I should have learned how to become a college bookie. Maybe I would have been semi-retired now. Soon, though. Soon.
