Derrick White of the Boston Celtics has been selected to represent the United States of America in men's basketball at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from July 26th to August 11th. USA Basketball announced the news today. Grant Hill, managing director of the USA Basketball Men's National Team, chose White.
As previously announced, Kawhi Leonard will not compete at the 2024 Olympics. According to USA Basketball and the Los Angeles Clippers, Leonard should use the rest of the summer to prepare for the next NBA season.
