The NCAA Division I council made the decision on Thursday to allow Canadian Hockey League players to compete in NCAA Division I hockey in 2025. This might change the way college and major junior hockey are played.

The council's decision means that players can play in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), which includes the Ontario Hockey League, the Western Hockey League, and the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League, without risking their eligibility to play in the NCAA Division I hockey tournament, as long as they aren't paid more than actual and necessary expenses as part of that participation.

Do you think this is a good move from the NCAA?
