Hey, did you hear the news? The government of New Zealand is taking a big step to make things safer and fairer. They've decided to start regulating online casinos to reduce harm, increase tax collection, and protect consumers. Cool, right?

According to information published by Minister of Internal Affairs Brooke van Velden, a regulatory framework is anticipated to be established by early 2026. A restricted number of licenses will be made accessible and distributed by auction. Assuming the operator satisfies all regulatory criteria, each license will be valid for three years.
