Now, with all of these changes, is there an impact in seeding and bids for March Madness? The short answer is yes. With the Pac-12 gone, from a bracket perspective, there are only 31 automatic bids and 37 at-large sports that will be available. There will also be some changes in metrics that was announced by the NCAA. Of course, the metrics itself is not the sole factor that the committee will be using in seeding and ranking.
